The kitchen fire extinguisher is a necessity in every home to combat flash fires. Keep it in the kitchen where most fires start. The foam unit in this fire extinguisher is a special foam formulated by 3M Corporation and is used nation wide by airport fire departments. The formula will not allow a fire to spread. The foam turns into a liquid and eventually dissipates. This is a non-toxic foam. It is entirely safe around food and people. It has anb accurate spray nozzle and the valve has a safety tab that must be broken by applying pressure before it will discharge. This is the only step in operating the fire extinguisher. The contents are U.L. Approved and the extinguisher comes with a free replacement policy.
