Description

The SPI31 smoke alarms are ionization 9V battery powered smoke alarms. These units have an 85 decibel horn, test switch, low battery signal, and a lighted power/alarm LED indicator (except 461); the LED flashes once per minute indicating it is receiving power. When in alarm, the LED flashes rapidly once per second.

These smoke alarms should be placed in single-family households or in each individual living unit of multiple-family buildings. All smoke alarms should be replaced every 10 years.
